Oh...my...goodness. I just joined Facebook at the insistence of my sister and it is so absolutely dangerous I can't stand it. It's 11:00, I haven't showered, done the breakfast dishes, or started one itch of work, even though the dogpile is literally up to my knees.
But in the hour and a half since I joined, I reconnected with my old pals Jillian Moreno and Joe Coca, got an invite to Lemon Grove, and my brother is itching to buy some pieces from me! Wow. I could do this all day long.

You're frittering away your time on Facebook? Don't you have a Beading Daily post to write? :)
No kidding! It is so absolutely horrible and I have to admit I love it.
And you totally caught me like I was sneaking out of my all-girls Catholic school dorm room! I know I owe you a post. It's on my list for today, along with stuff I owe Melinda...and Dustin...and Deborah...and Tammy...and Rebecca...and Joanne...and Alice...oh, this is getting depressing!
I joined Facebook in November to promote my jewelry business, and it's become such a great tool for reconnecting. I can instantly talk to family members I haven't seen in years, and keep up with my friends from high school, from college, post-college, everything. I even have a few friends hooked up from middle school! I live 300 miles from where I grew up, and it feels so much closer now. So what started as a marketing tool has had unexpected, pleasant results. I can spend wayyyy too much time on it, it's too easy!
